About CAT Exam: This is a national level exam to get admission in MBA course offered by 20 IIMs and 1200+ Bschools . More3 than 2 lakhs student appeared in CAT Exam. CAT or we can say Common Admission Test is a computer based test of two hours. It contains MCQ and non MCQ questions from verbal ability& reading comprehension, Data interpretation & Logical reasoning, and Quantitative ability. This is a high level difficulty paper. Apart from MBA CAT scores are also valid for admission in Executive MBA , FPM and Phd programs. The official website for CAT notifications is iimcat.ac.in

CAT 2025 Application Form
CAT Application Form Details :
The candidate must have a bachelor degree in any stream from a recognised university with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST ) are eligible for filling application form of CAT Exam.
There is no limit for age and attempts per student.

The exam is conducted by IIMs, Student can fill their exam form online on their official website(iimcat.ac.in) . Students must require to fill all necessary details including professional and educational.
Scanned copy of photograph and sign is required at the time of filling form.
For reserve category students caste certificate is needed.
Student have to pay the fees INR 2300 for general and INR 1150 for SC,ST, Pwd candidates.

CAT 2025 Exam Dates
CAT Exam dates : According to the latest notification CAT 2024 exam notification is expected to release on 31 JULY 2024. The registrations are expected to start from Aug 2024.
The CAT exam usually held in November or December every year. The exact date is released by the conducting IIM will be in JULY or August.
CAT 2025 Admit Card
CAT Admit card : The admit card is released before the few days of the CAT exam, All the candidates visit to the official website and login with valid credentials to download the admit card. All the necessary details are mentioned in admit card. The tentative dates of releasing admit card are OCT 2024 usually.
CAT 2025 Exam Centres
CAT Exam centres: Approximately in 150 cities across the India computer based CAT exam is held, Recently Imphal is also added in the list of exam centres. The reporting time and documents needed are mentioned in Admit card.

CAT 2025 Exam Pattern
CAT Exam Pattern :
CAT is a computer based paper, which is of 2 hours . For each sections 40 min are given.
There are 66 question og 198 marks . For every right question 3 marks are awarded and for wrong answer 1 mark is deducted. There is no negative marking for Non MCQ questions.
The exam is designed in such way that it evaluates the time management skills and ability to handle pressure. As the exam is conducted in a time-bound manner, candidates must learn to manage their time effectively and prioritize the questions that they are confident of answering correctly.

CAT 2025 Result
CAT Exam Result : CAT exam will be held in the month of November or December of 2024, and for the same result will be announced in JAN 2024.
Candidates can check the result on official website with login credentials. The scores obtained from CAT exam is use to get admission in IIMs and Non IIMs business schools.
